Robert “Bobby” Ticsay, or better known as TRAPTOR, is a New York-born Filipino American Dubstep Producer and DJ. He is currently residing in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.

TRAPTOR has been producing and DJing bass music since January 2019 but is no stranger to music. At the age of four, his grandmother and mother groomed him to be a classical pianist. He has also been performing for several decades, from choirs to jazz ensembles, to his own indie rock band, Kirei, well before TRAPTOR was conceptualized.

TRAPTOR studied in audio recording technologies at Five Towns College in Long Island, NY, where he received a strong music-theory background. He has since produced several songs with over sixty thousand streams on Spotify to date.

TRAPTOR has also supported these artists live such as JVNA, BEAUZ, Loud Luxury, Kliptic, and Vastive.
